Your studies at the Bern University of Applied Sciences will provide you with the practice-orientated, basic knowledge you will need to master challenging tasks in commercial enterprises or public administration.

Please contact the Swiss Embassy in your country before applying for a study place at our university in order to inform yourself of the processes and regulations when applying for a study visa. In some countries school diplomas and university degrees need to be notarially certified before submitting them to the Swiss Embassy. The duration of this notarial certification process can take up to 10 weeks.
For such countries you also need to provide copies of the notarially certified documents together with the other application documents to the BFH Business School.
Applicants must have a good command of English. BBA International Programme classes are taught in English. With the English level of the vocational qualification ("Berufsmatura") or a higher education entrance qualification ("gymnasiale Matura") you should not have problems to follow the courses. For all interested students who do have a non-Swiss educational background, we do expect an English level of at least B2 and do recommend a level of C1.

Prospective Students who have completed modules at another university (or equivalent institutions locally or abroad) or who are able to demonstrate that they possess excellent English language skills that are far above those required for the degree may apply for credit. Please complete the application form Request of recognition (Downloads). This will allow the administration to check whether courses are considered equivalent to modules taught at the Bern University of Applied Sciences. The application will only be examined after admission to the degree programme. The deadline is 31 of July of the year you start your studies.
Interested people (external) may participate in courses, subject to availability. The costs amount to CHF 300.- per 3 ECTS-Module (which generaly corresponds to two semester-week-hours).
