Opportunities of cross-border added value


Cooperative research between the Institute for Corporate Development and the Swiss German Club has investigated the opportunities to add value across borders. 

What are the export development and internationalisation demands upon Swiss companies doing business in Germany? How can cross-border added value be supported in practice? Fritz Burkhalter, founder and president of the Swiss German Club, appointed Bern University of Applied Sciences to conduct research into these issues. Three MSc students in the Business Administration degree program have been working on the project since the spring of 2016. Qualitative interviews conducted face to face with Swiss companies formed the basis for the data.
