Four lecturers from the School of Business, Economics and IT along with representatives from the BFH Business School met to explore possible areas of research and cooperation. Rather than the usual stale environment of a meeting room, the participants took a long walk through the Bernese Oberland to discuss their thoughts and ideas. In doing so they were able to take in the scenery, get to know each other and find out more about their mutual academic interests. It proved to be a very productive outing- not to mention extremely pleasant. The conclusions of the “walking meeting” were further developed back at INU. This has led to specific project plans in the areas of sustainability, nudging, gamification and virtual reality. More meetings are planned and INU is pleased to have gained a further strong and interesting partner especially where international cooperation is concerned.
