The Bern University of Applied Sciences BFH is an international, multilingual university, with students and lecturers from many different countries. It has partnerships with a series of universities abroad and cooperates with international partners in a large number of projects and in research activities.
The Young Entrepreneur Exchange Project (YEEP) believes that entrepreneurship is an indispensable principle, developing self-determined individuals and fostering a dynamic economy and social development. Increasing entrepreneurial thinking, capability-building and intercultural learning is one of the main goals of the partnership between Bern University of Applied Sciences (BFH), Switzerland and Hawassa University (HU), Ethiopia. YEEP has grown to now include an International Summer School, co-hosted with Parul University, Gujarat India. The philosophy remains the same; students work on innovative business ventures in a vibrant multicultural environment, while at the same time developing their intercultural competence and enjoying a once in a lifetime experience.
