You will design business and distribution models, help with the reorganisation and redesign of business processes, often with the assistance of an external partner. Together with managers, specialists and administration staff as well as technical experts, you will develop applications, services, systems and networks for customised data, information and knowledge management.

Interested graduates with a Bachelor degree have the opportunity to develop the theory and practice of the discipline on a Master programme. With a Master degree they can take executive management positions, or go into research or teaching in the area of Business Information Technology. Master programmes are currently in the pipeline throughout Switzerland.

Graduates of the Bachelor course have the option of continuing their theoretical and practical studies in their field by taking a Master's degree. Graduates with a Master's degree are qualified to work in responsible posts with higher status, in management, research and teaching in the field of information technology. The corresponding Master's courses are current in the process of being prepared throughout Switzerland.
